Artwork Description

I met these two artists while travelling in New York City. We immediately made a connection and I wanted to photograph them in their true form in a public setting.

We found a park bench in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and I asked them to just relax in the seat. I thought they looked so peaceful doing every day human things.

This image would work beautifully on a brick feature wall in an urban home or to add a feature to a plain, dark coloured wall.

Artist Bio

Born in Richmond, Melbourne I started photographing at aged seven after my parents gifted me a point and shoot camera.

As a late teen my parents took my brother and I to visit their home countries (Chile & Greece). We visited relatives and local strangers. We discussed politics and shared similar interests. I walked away from this trip learning so much about my cultural diversity that allowed me to see people in a different light. I feel that these trips shaped the way I photograph, with a focus on people and identity.

I consider myself an emerging artist, professionally starting photography at 21. I learn more every day I photograph.
