Artwork Description

This illustration captures the vibrant essence of Broome, blending the rugged beauty of its landscapes with the serenity of its wildlife. The alligator represents strength and resilience, echoing the ancient connection between the land and its creatures. In contrast, the delicate dragonfly embodies transformation and lightness, gracefully reflecting the transient beauty of Broome’s wetlands.

The interplay between these two forms explores the harmony between power and fragility in nature. Through intricate details and textures, this artwork celebrates the unique ecosystems of Broome, inviting viewers to appreciate the profound interconnectedness of its fauna and the stories they carry

Artist Bio

As a practising artist, drawing and painting are an intrinsic part of my life and my best therapy form. Through Painting, I can effectively communicate my thoughts and emotions and narrate stories. Art is a powerful means of communication. I have a constant, never-ending love affair with Nature; They are a source of all my creative art forms. The rustling leaves, and soft sunlight of a forest glade fill me with a sense of wonder and peace. If we pay enough attention to a flower or small pebble in the ground, they could open endless creative possibilities. Being an art educator, I am also learning to look at the world through children’s eyes, and they are filled with love, happiness, and creativity. Travelling provides a source of inspiration for enhancing my self-confidence and self-worth. I have forged many strong friendships over the year and love to tell their tales through art.
