Hello! I am a contemporary artist residing in Tasmania. My love affair with art began in my teenage years. I studied ancient art with an interest in the stylistic art of ancient Egypt and works of art from the Italian Renaissance, the Fauves and the Impressionists. I am also quite keen on the work of Kees Van Dongen, Toulouse Lautrec, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse and Willem de Kooning. Eclectic would be a great way to describe my work. My art is emotive, my mood influences the origin and outcome of my paintings. I love to create art that is joyful, whimsical, colourful and expressive.
