Philosophy is in itself an art form, one that is expressive of life. The greats, Epictetus, Aristotle, Marcus Aurelius, Plato, Socrates and Zeno have inspired this collection of works. Through a collection of different philosophical thoughts and ideologies one can try to navigate the desperate beauty and unbearable pain of life. This particular piece is of all six philosophers, capturing the ideologies across a span of different intellects through the fusion of their eyes. By using oil on canvas there is a smoothness and reflective quality allowing the viewer to gaze into the pupils or hollow eyes of the great thinkers and reflect upon their own thoughts.
