Pincushion Ed. 1 of 20

I have always loved flowers, the colour, texture and structure of each individual flower combined to create the beauty of the bloom. The indigenous flowers of Australia are most intriguing with their unusual shapes and colours. The Pincushion is vibrant, graphic, and almost alien to look at allows this image to be eye catching and beautiful to keep looking at.

Pincushion comes unmounted and unframed, but with a margin around the outside so that you can frame it yourself to suit your decor.

I grew up in Manchester in the North of England but have lived in many parts of the UK and in France but returned to Manchester when I was 27 years old. I was always interested in art and crafts and can’t remember a time when I wasn’t creating something (other than chaos!!).

I have always been interested in photography and taken photographs firstly with a trusty point and shoot and then with an equally trustworthy DSLR camera.

In 2010 I moved to Melbourne Australia where I started to formally study photography. Since then I have been involved in exhibitions and in 2017 I won a Silver Award in the National AIPP competition and another Silver Award in the Victorian AIPP awards earlier this year.

I love experimenting to create photos and like nothing better than to turn the ordinary into art.
