I love hiking at the Cathedral Ranges and the spectacular sunsets you can see from the surrounding hills. The pink glow on the rocks make a striking contrast with the shadows of the angled cliff faces. Nature's palette is always a sight to behold!

The painting has been made using artist quality acrylic paint, pastels, and pigment ink.

Hello! Welcome to my Bluethumb page!

I'm a Melbourne based artist, who has always created, and my artistic practice has become a full time pursuit in the last 8 or so years.

Here on my Bluethumb page you will find some of my colourful abstract works, expressive and evocative, made purely from a place of memory and emotion. I have also included some of my semi-abstract landscapes, and these are made with an environmental perspective in mind, my interpretation of the bush where I live and which is my happy place. My commitment is to raise further awareness of the need to protect our amazing natural environment.
