Valley of Mists

The beautiful early morning mist that hangs in the valley near our home was the inspiration for this piece. The tall trees and serene hills are witness to each new day. This painting was made in tribute to my local surrounds where I love to walk, especially in the quiet of the morning.

Painted with acrylic and ink on A3 size watercolour paper.

Unframed, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Hello! Welcome to my Bluethumb page!

I'm a Melbourne based artist, who has always created, and my artistic practice has become a full time pursuit in the last 8 or so years.

Here on my Bluethumb page you will find some of my colourful abstract works, expressive and evocative, made purely from a place of memory and emotion. I have also included some of my semi-abstract landscapes, and these are made with an environmental perspective in mind, my interpretation of the bush where I live and which is my happy place. My commitment is to raise further awareness of the need to protect our amazing natural environment.
