Artwork Description

Inspired by the mythology of the Australian landscape, “her beauty and her terror”, a mythos deeply ingrained in our national psyche.

Abstract and gestural, echoing shapes and patterns observed in nature, the painting is imbued with mystery and allure, reflecting the myth and majesty of this ancient land.

Artist Bio

Jack Ardill is a contemporary artist living on the South Coast of New South Wales. His work is an exploration of life, using the natural world as metaphor and inspiration.
