I love serenity of this piece. I've been exploring the flow of acrylic inks on watercolour paper. I love the simplicity of monochromatic greys/blacks on a white background with an accent of red. Every painting is an adventure as I don't know what is going to happen before I start.

Creating art has always been part of my life. It was only recently that I discovered alcohol inks. I love this medium because of the vivid colours and the spontaneity it allows. For me, art is a way to access my intuition and express my creativity. I start by putting ink randomly on the paper and then I let it flow and see what emerges. I rarely know what is going to happen when I start a painting and allow the way the ink flows to inform what it eventually becomes. Most of all, this type of art is very freeing and so much fun!
