Artist Statement . I have always loved flowers for their amazing colour, smell and form. My artwork is inspired by the many flowers I grew in the large country garden I established in my younger years, filled with bulbs, roses and flowering perennials. I aim to capture flowers realistically in my paintings, using photographs as my reference. My paintings reflect my passion for colour and the beauty of nature, bringing the outside inside to be enjoyed by all.
Recently I been painting birds, animals and landscapes as well as flowers, inspired by the beautiful Australian fauna and the coastal area I live in.
