This painting is based upon a photograph of me taken a couple of years ago, however, I have taken a lot of licence with my appearance. It is no longer me, but a younger woman determined to reach her goal.
I had fun making the background slightly blurred while giving the figure more defined detail and lighting. The overall effect is more fantasy than realism.
