This is an original one off, abstract painting on Canvas ready to hang on your beautiful wall.
I love painting with these colours, so full of life and joy. The jewel like ultra-marine blue, aqua and white with touches of green and red oxide creates a lively interplay across the Dramatic black and white surface. A striking reminder of the effervescence contained within the waters of life.
Many viewers feel a gentle freedom from this series of paintings. Uplifting and peaceful like being underwater with jellyfish floating by.
The big. The tiny. The sea. The surf wash and foam. The molecules. Rock-pools and life on the coast. These things are that I think about and look at when I create these paintings.
The circular organic motifs and the organic forms allude to cellular life forms, dainty aquatic-life and to the visceral otherworldliness of the building blocks of life like cells, amoeba, and molecules and as the title suggests, ‘Bio Bloom Life Field’. The forms can be viewed as miniscule cell life just as easily as an underwater view with floating jellyfish or bioluminescent organisms. The aim was to create something universal, sublime and beautiful yet also possessing a feeling of fragility.
”I feel like I am gently floating like jelly-fish” is a lovely comment I so often receive from this series.
What I enjoy most about my paintings is they make people smile with a sense of wonderment and feelings of happiness as well as giving their walls finesse and with a splash of colour for years to come.
These smaller canvases create an elegant talking point with a view into another world where beautiful mysterious shapes and forms drift gently in and out of focus.

I have tried to keep the prices of my paintings lower than usual due to the effect of Corona Virus on the world economy and my income. I am hoping it helps some buyers to beautify their homes in this current situation and be able to support a sole trader - artist (that's me), at the same time.
Prices will return to normal when the world does.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jacquelyn Stephens is a Melbourne based artist who has been successfully exhibiting her paintings for over 20 years since completing a BFA in Painting at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts. She has gained an extensive knowledge of Art, quality art materials, techniques and theory from working closely within the arts industries and in her own art practice. Jacquelyn works full time from her studio on the Melbourne fringe. She has had several successful solo and group exhibitions in commercial galleries and artists run spaces. Her paintings can be seen in many media publications and are held in private collections worldwide. Many of the key themes in her work have been informed by her interest in water, nature, science, the environment and the domain of medicine.
