'Mute' is a piece that attempts to express the feeling of being a languid, spiritual journey-goer, and trying to maintain integrity to that shifting identity and find words to explain personal thoughts to others when a part of your meditative take on life is the resultant lack of stagnant judgment and opinion. Juggling being a peaceful, aware observer and relearning sociability from that space is a challenge. It was also like a portrait of a part of myself that has always been there, one who never speaks, but is my ultimate mentor.

Artist Bio
Born and raised in Sydney, attended Mosman High school and studied under Rod Grant there. After winning a Mosman Gallery Youth art award, I studied painting under the tuition of Mark Lamble. In the year following Year 12 graduation I moved onto Sydney College of The Arts, where I studied painting and art theory under Matthys Gerber and a host of other excellent academics, obtaining my Bachelor Of Fine Arts by the year 2016. Since then I have done my own thing, exhibiting in Germany and Australia.
