Transcendental meditations are behind this work, working with the dark and light that is there. At times it feels like an eternal give and take, the breath in and the breath out, and the reality is that trivialities are contextual, and such a simple act is no more important than a game of ping pong. It is the lightness in reverential matters that made this work for me. "Ping Pong" is written into the work, as it was the recurring thought that preservered with me, deep into my hypnotic experience of the breath, as I found the idea so amusing in that context.

Artist Bio
Born and raised in Sydney, attended Mosman High school and studied under Rod Grant there. After winning a Mosman Gallery Youth art award, I studied painting under the tuition of Mark Lamble. In the year following Year 12 graduation I moved onto Sydney College of The Arts, where I studied painting and art theory under Matthys Gerber and a host of other excellent academics, obtaining my Bachelor Of Fine Arts by the year 2016. Since then I have done my own thing, exhibiting in Germany and Australia.
