These Gemini twins have places to be, journeys to go on and dreams to chase.
They make decisions in their own time considering all perspectives.
They are not beholden to any box you put them in.
They are in a constant state of awe, marvelling at the smallest of wonders.
They are intelligent and voracious learners.
They are up for deep conversation or witty banter at any time.

This abstract artwork started out using a tiler's scraper, scraping high flow paint around the oval canvas.
As with almost all my artworks, I had no plan with this one. I simply go with it.

I sat it aside for a month or so, no knowing what to do with it. I kept seeing dragon wings which I thought was really cool but was a bit daunted by painting one.

I usually have a set order of creating an artwork. This time, because I was stuck, I procrastinated A LOT and decided to do stencilling and mark making with poscas. I used my own handmade stamps to add details to the red swishes. This is usually one of the last steps. As I doodled with the poscas, I saw a perfect opening where the dragon wings were going to be, for 2 heads. I sketched them in, added colour and filled most of the left over space with yellow hair.

I am very proud of this one.
