Dry, hot and dusty with the movement of cattle and the drover on his horse
Born in Victoria in 1951, I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. Being female, I was never allowed to go to art school so I am very much self taught. I am mostly a landscape artist. Mainly oils but some pastel. I try to learn from the Heidelberg School, the way they captured the light and movement of the Australian country side. I have lived in Jamieson for over forty years and the High country is full of inspiration for my work. I have been painting full time for the last twenty years and have done some workshops in Shepparton, Benalla and Mansfield
