Space (Disg)Race

This artwork is meant to highlight the undesired parts of space travel and space colonisation. This painting illustrates a worst case scenario of human expansion into the galaxy. I believe it would be a grave mistake and the height of arrogance to spread greed, war, destruction etc throughout space.

I am a twenty-four-year-old artist from Coffs Harbour, NSW. I love all things creative including poetry, playing music and novel writing. I’m largely self taught at painting. I have attended some art lessons at a local art group and did art all through high school. I depict dreamy outer space art with an ethereal, psychedelic theme. Merging dreamy landscapes and mysterious scenery, I often contrast this with harsh imagery, usually with an underlying social or environmental meaning. I also really enjoy architecture and human anatomy which I try to incorporate into my paintings in refreshing and exciting ways.
