'Chrysalis' depicts the constant becoming of something. Illustrated in impasto lines using mixed mediums that surfaces across the subject's face, it somehow shows that no one thing ever remains the same. Warm tones were integrated across the portrait, reminiscent of the colours associated with the rising and setting sun. Soft tones suggesting the movement of time and its transition.
