The Narrows, Barmah is near Jim's birthplace and has historical meaning for his ancestors. Jims ancestors ran the first Barge across the Murray River and built and ran the Barmah pub. This painting is a memory of Jims from Barmah
James is a Ballarat based artist with over 60 years experience in the art world. Born and raised in Nathalia, James' main focus for his art is Australian landscapes, with an affinity to the Murray River. He has experience with all mediums but for now will offer his watercolour paintings. James has won numerous awards in many different shows.
