The artwork represents our ability in life to stay connected and grounded while moving between many points of interest. Like a snake winding away into oblivion of winter before rebirth into spring and summer our changes are seasonal and we all vary. In the centre are low hanging grapes and foliage from which the snake has come through. The angular and curved face facing left is in contrast to that which is progressing across the canvas to the right, along the snakes trail through reflections from glasses.
Metaphoric and deeply symbolic this painting was completed during spring and is about personal growth and rebirth.
