All of us face the storms of life. Sometimes we feel exposed, lost, unsure, confused, uncertain, fearful. But in the midst of a storm, if we lift our eyes, we can often find a place of “refuge.” It may be a place. It may be a person. It may be drawing on a deep sense of hope, love and faith that has been planted within us all along. This painting attempts to remind us to look for the light in the midst of the darkness.
