Artwork Description

This wave is on the Western Australian coastline in a very remote place, it breaks on the end of an island out to sea in the southern ocean. The wave forms by coming from very deep water onto an almost dry ledge. Its a sight to behold and not for the fainthearted.

Artist Bio

The coastline of Western Australia has some of the most spectacular scenery on offer.
Jamie Scott has captured the essence and beauty of this wonderful land in his photography, and now is giving you the opportunity to enjoy and take home the views yourself.
Jamie grew up in the town of Dunsborough, Western Australia and was surrounded by water from an early age, Jamie now resides in Margaret River. Surfing, wave sailing and diving are a big part of Jamie's lifestyle.
Jamie Scott has many images in his growing gallery, from the South West and North West regions of Western Australia to choose from, including Sunsets, Coastlines, Wildlife, Landscapes, Waves and Surfing.
Jamie Scott has won numerous awards worldwide for his big wave images and also has a permanent exhibition in the new WA Museum Boola Bardip, Perth.
