I am a self taught Artist and I was born in Camberwell, Victoria.
My grandfather was a Watercolor Artist and I inherited my love of Art from him.
I was always painting and drawing as a child and it was assumed I would have a career in the Arts.
However somehow as fate would have it I ended up in UK learning to fly then moved to USA to continue with my training and get all the necessary credentials.
I flew tours of the Grand Canyon then started a job flying commuters for American Airlines.
After retiring I started painting Pet Portraits on commission and have my work all over USA.... janspetportraits.com .
I then decided to move back to Australia and settle on the Sunshine Coast where I found great inspiration painting beach scenes where I managed to include my love of animals with the beach.
I have recently started painting in Watercolours and I just LOVE them, very different from Oils and Acrylics....
