Famine is a representation of global warming and the effect in Shak's home country of India. It is raw, it is hot, it is bare and the dynamic sun is beating like fire in the sky and affecting the people, the land, the trees and the earth.

Artist Bio
We are Pink Shakra, an artistic collaboration that formed when we met and fell head over heels for each other in 2018.
Shak is Indian and draws and paints our pieces. I am Aus atralian (Melbourne based) and I embellish much of our art with sequins and or crystals to bring them to life.
Either one of us will create the colour backdrop and once Shak has completed his painting, I then intuitively add the coloured details in a way that keeps the essence of the painting, but captures the brilliance of Indian life that we both adore.
Our embellished work comes to life and surprises you with the intricate details that shine when captured by the light.
We look forward to sharing our collaborative pieces.
