Living in country Victoria, Jan draws inspiration from the world around her. Her love of animals is strongly represented in many of her artworks as well as the bold magpies that make fabulous statement pieces of art.
Jan’s style when painting animals is about using colour and composition to capture personality and quirky qualities that draw the viewer in. An innate understanding of the use of colours creates visual nuances to delight the viewer.
