As I often do I was outdoor sketching at Shelley Beach, Lorne, when I made a start on this work. There is grass moving in the south westerly winds…sometimes gentle, mostly not….rocks and surf and distant horizon. A place of calm and movement at the same time. In the studio I collage sketches together to create my Memories of Place
