Since ships were invented, humans have stood on the shore and wondered at their voyage.
An exotic destination perhaps? What nature their cargo? This is essentially a study of sunlight on ocean often seen from my studio overlooking Port Phillip.

Jane Flowers is an award winning Australian artist and keen sailor, diver and beachcomber who is passionate about the natural world, She is particularly drawn to the ocean and everything on and in it. Jane also loves our inland environments and the bush. She loves to travel to collect inspiration for her landscapes and seascapes painted back in the studio in oil on canvas.
