Heartland Horror is an original surreal retro pulp magazine cover art painting by Jane Ianniello.
Jane's painting is inspired by the pulp detective magazines that were popular from 1930s to the 1950s - she has appropriated a cover from the 1950s showing a scared woman in a convertible sports car and placed the woman in a wheatfield in the American heartlands.
