"Outland" is a surreal painting showing a 1940s Hollywood actress Yvonne de Carlo on Mars with an alert Doberman dog. The painting creates a sense of unease and absurdity by juxtaposing a beautifully groomed woman against a barren Mars landscape and a wary Doberman. Jane is a well-known Brisbane artist who has been finalist for art prizes and also exhibited at various Brisbane and Gold Coast galleries. Her paintings are held in private collections worldwide.
