Artwork Description

The inspiration for this artwork occurred on a 5 day kayaking trip along the remote North coast of Kangaroo Island. Magnificent, spectacular high cliffs and small rocky coves only accessible by boat. The endangered Australian Sea Lions are in one of their last strongholds along this coast. While paddling in one of these beautiful isolated coves a group of young Australian Sea Lions found us, this moment of surprise and wonder is the inspiration for this artwork.
