A Boobook owl comes to a line of trees in our back paddock each year looking for a mate, maybe the same one. The sound of the owl calling reassures and grounds me. This artwork is a visual memory of listening to that Boobook hoot over a winters evening at my home on Kangaroo Island. The paper is Canson Archival Mixed Media and the ink Sakura Oil Based ink. I use Australian Silk Cut Lino to produce my linoprints as its the most environmentally sustainable available.
