Artwork Description

This painting was inspired by the beautiful colours and rugged elegance of the eucalyptus. The use of impasto gives the bark a physical presence that brings the scene to life. The eye is drawn to linger on the texture of the bark.this painting would sit beautifully with natural woods and linens, and against grey, neutral or sage green walls, bringing a grounded, peaceful feel to the room.
