I love to walk on the rock platforms near Wollongong's beaches. These fascinating coastal formations contrast as places of stillness and life against the backdrop of the dynamic movement of the the ocean. Light plays on the surface of the rockpools water, and overhangs create deep shadows. I love the varied texture of the rocks, rough and uneven surfaces sculpted by the waves. Within the pools, an abundance of life with anemones, weeds and small fish. This space between land and sea is a constant source of inspiration.
