Artwork Description

Tracing the Descent is inspired from the local landscape, where water falls from the Illawarra escarpment's dramatic rock ledges to often hidden, deep tranquil pools. This piece captures the dynamic energy of the downward journey through soft light and valleys on its journey to the sea. The red is a “nod” to one of my favourite trees, the Illawarra flame tree,
