Acrylic and oils on linen

Remember the days....the inspiration for this piece was young love and one of my favourites from Cat Stevens. I remember the peeled paint and graffiti on the back of the toilet doors at school. Those schoolgirl crushes that you thought would always last, that admiration that you thought was love, the time spent thinking and dreaming about another person. It wasn’t just ugly letters on walls, it was raw adolescent emotions unable to be expressed in any other way. This was a fun piece to do, layering paint and peeling it back and finishing with oil pastels.
This painting is on a quality stretched linen with gallery finished edges. I have used artists quality paint, mediums and varnish and is ready to hang.
