Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas

Signed on the front.

The painting was inspired by the work I completed in 2019 for the Glover prize. The brief was a Tasmanian landscape and my painting was an abstract representation of the discovery of rare corals and marine life found in the reefs off Tasmania’s east coast. Six new coral species have also been discovered in the Tamar River estuary in recent years. The painting has sold and has gone to its forever home however looks absolutely fantastic as a large replica, will liven up any décor and is a real talking piece.

The painting was done on stretcher bars however for safe postage the canvas has been removed from the stretcher bars. It will be rolled and posted in a sturdy tube.
