Sparkling Rose (Framed)

I must admit pink is one of my favourite colours. There are so many variations in colours within this spectrum. I am also impartial to a glass of pink champagne on special occasions! This painting was done after a number of birthday celebrations in January including my own. I am always intrigued by the continual flow of tiny bubbles rising to the surface of the glass and then collapsing , releasing a cloud of tiny droplets that produce that pleasurable experience when drinking champagne.

The painting has many layers starting with a textured base of circles representing the bubbles, then multiple layers of various different tones of pink. I have used the best quality artists paints and varnish. The white floating frame makes the painting pop!
