I wanted a different background for my work so chose a beautiful floral material, lightly painted out some of the floral which left a ghost image and then painted both birds and bees to fit in with the remaining prominent blooms.
I am a mature aged artist who completed a double diploma in visual arts sculpture and visual arts illustration over 6 years around 2000. Since then I have entered many shows and have been lucky enough to win many prizes and awards. I now teach as well as sculpt and paint in oils, gouache and acrylics. I like to make works that have a conservation meaning or just to amuse the viewer . My favourite medium is oils and I enjoy painting super realism with a twist. I hope you enjoy viewing my works as much as i have enjoyed making them
