Artwork Description

Linda gazed out to the Pacific Ocean at Bawley Point, Southern NSW Australia. She wasn’t looking for anything in particular, maybe a dolphin, a bird, or just the passing clouds. She was happy in herself. Her walk was confident, even bouncy, as her ponytail kept time. Her running shoes swung in her grip as she strode along. Today wasn’t a running day, maybe tomorrow.
Use this piece to tell a subtle story of independence, reflection and inner joy.

Artist Bio

Janine currently paints original coastal watercolours that capture place and memory and offer these back to the viewer as relatable experiences. Her intention is to represent the coastal scenes that she enjoys for others to relate to; or remember; based on their own experiences of the coast.

Janine says, "watercolour offers a beauty through its transparent colours, its fragility, and texture. It also offers challenge because of these same features."
