Artwork Description

'Realignment' is part of Janine Steele's series titled 'She', which explores female form with a creative and intimate style. Showing both strength and vulnerability in her subjects while maintaining their anonymity, Janine celebrates feminine wisdom and courage. The concept of 'She' was created at a time when self-expansion and inner-strength played a large role in Janine's stage of life.
This particular artwork was inspired by the healing power of water - our innate connection to it and the ability to recalibrate by getting wet.

"This series is dedicated to the amazing females who have come into my life. Some for only minutes and some for a lifetime". Janine Steele

Professionally printed with archival pigment inks on aquarelle cotton rag 310gsm.
This heavyweight, textured paper adds to the depth and quality of the artwork.

Artist Bio

Emerging photographic artist, Janine Steele reveals her adoration for elemental beauty in a serene collection of semi-abstract fine art prints. Largely self-taught, Janine has worked as a freelance portrait photographer for ten years alongside a nursing career and motherhood. Her pursuit of a simple, coastal lifestyle prompted a relocation with her young family from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast two years ago. Fostering a deeper consciousness with her surrounds in Noosa, Janine was inspired and found the space to explore the more creative aspects of photography. Intuitively photographing subjects of interest has produced a beautiful and meaningful body of work that focuses on aspects of our natural environment as well as the female form. Drawn to the ocean and on a quest of personal growth and healing - Janine's images capture the delicate tranquility that exists in nature and life itself.

Available as limited edition prints and canvases, each unique piece is titled, numbered and hand-signed by the artist.
