Absract Botanical Art - Celebrating Australian native plants and habitat restoration
I’m an abstract botanical artist whose mixed media practice spans watercolour, inks, collage, paper sculpture, and kinetic art. My work is inspired by the intricate patterns and structures found in the natural world, with a particular focus on Australian native plants. Through my art, I express both a deep respect for nature and a concern for the environmental impact of the modern human footprint.
With early training in traditional painting techniques, my artistic direction evolved towards abstraction, guided by an experimental approach to materials and form. My work explores the intersection of natural history, environmental preservation, and contemporary artistic expression.
