Artwork Description

This painting came as a protest at the overdevelopment of peaceful places. We should be mindful of caring for the land. This painting was exhibited at the Ocean Shores Art Competition 2018.
Byron Bay is a very special place, facing east and north over ocean . People come here to feel the natural spaces where they can walk in bare feet and swim free.

Artist Bio

An artist is a vehicle for art. The inspiration comes, especially when you seek it, and away you go creatively. When the art is finished, you know.
I paint flowers and birds, all the nature around me in Byron Bay, Australia. I have had commissions and sold paintings to those who have seen them in my home gallery. I make cards from the paintings which travel all over the world..
My bright colours are bringing happiness to people.
I have written and illustrated eight children's picture story books, eg The Messenger and The Little Tree and six of them were available for loan all over Australia through the Richmond Tweed Library.
