Artwork Description

Bees have fed civilisations for millennia. From ancient Egypt to modern Australia, Bee Culture still exists and thrives. There is something magnificent about honey that we can all participate in, thanks to the relationship between bees and mankind. Wherever there are bees, honey is being collected as a fantastic free resource. Bees can't resist native Australian pink Acacia flowers.

Artist Bio

An artist is a vehicle for art. The inspiration comes, especially when you seek it, and away you go creatively. When the art is finished, you know.
I paint flowers and birds, all the nature around me in Byron Bay, Australia. I have had commissions and sold paintings to those who have seen them in my home gallery. I make cards from the paintings which travel all over the world..
My bright colours are bringing happiness to people.
I have written and illustrated eight children's picture story books, eg The Messenger and The Little Tree and six of them were available for loan all over Australia through the Richmond Tweed Library.
