Oil painting of a balcony adjacent to my apartment in Barcelona. I was feeling uninspired and distracted from painting for a time during my stay in Spain, and decided to do a painting of the view from my balcony. I sketched it out first, followed by a complete underpainting in Umber, and then blocked in the top layer in the ensuing days.
