Practising art from a young age and have pursued a focus in drawing and painting throughout Schooling, University and maturity.
My style is abstract expressionism. Mentors and Influences range from some Post WW1 movements like CoBrA, Melbourne Expressionists, German Expressionists and the Masters like Francis Bacon, Antoni Tapies, and Van Gogh.
Have gallery exhibit experience in both groups and solo shows.
My style and approach to my artwork is commonly a depiction of a memory/thought from my subconscious state. I then transfer it to the studio setting and consciously push and develop it into a solid final and physical representation to try to share, pass on to others.
I paint in a dark and dingy garage studio in the western suburbs of Melbourne. My mediums are varied and often mixed together, I always try to experiment where possible and embrace the role of Chance in my art.
