I began this painting as an abstract
however, I realised it wasn't complete. It didn't have any meaning. As I was listening to the radio an old favourite song came on, 'Wanted, Dead or Alive'. I knew I had to use the inspiration but was very careful not make it trite. I began to incorporate the images of a cowboy, the steel horse (motorbike), the guitar and drinking. I could see that it was really working well and there was a high amount of originality in it.
