Amboseli Lion

I’ve spent a lot of time in Africa researching wildlife to paint, and one of my earliest trips provided inspiration for this lion portrait. Amboseli is a particularly beautiful national park in Kenya, and over a number of safaris the lions of Amboseli particularly inspired me.
