Artwork Description

Another of my Greek ‘studies’, a series of botanical paintings from life that I completed on an extended Greek painting trip recently. The island of Chios has grown incredible citrus fruit for centuries, and this study shows a lovely ripe fruit. Painted in a taverna in the Campos region of the island.
