Artwork Description

The artwork is of a Dingo. A single sheet of paper has been hand cut using a fine point blade. A section of paper is painted with acrylic paint to bring a pop of colour.

This piece is currently not framed, and price is for unframed work. Please see my other listings for example frame. If you would like it framed, I am happy to do so, just not it will take extra time to ship.
Artwork will come framed between 2 pieces of glass in a box frame to cast a shadow on the intricate detail. The frame is a unique, sustainable, recycled wood frame.

This piece is completely unique and cannot be exactly replicated. My work is created this way as each individual animal is unique.

Artist Bio

My two passions in life are animals and art. I am a qualified Wildlife Scientist and work in the field of animal conservation. I have no formal qualifications in the arts but have pursued my passion for art my whole life. I focus on creating artworks of wildlife as it gives me a chance to help spread awareness of the struggle our wildlife face, especially from climate change. There is a beauty in nature that people often take for granted and I try to express this beauty in my artwork. I have experimented with many different art forms; however, papercutting is the one I enjoy the most. I enjoy creating works on paper as the medium itself is fragile just like our ecosystem. It takes time and patience to cut out each individual piece. I become immersed in my art and forget about all other worries.
