This piece was inspired by my pregnancy experiences. My first pregnancy is a painful stillbirth experience where I deliver a beautiful baby boy without a heartbeat. It took us 2 years to be pregnant again. The feeling of forever waiting to be pregnant and the joy of knowing that you are expecting is priceless. This piece shows the emotions of pregnancy and the round circles represent the magical experience of growing little you in your tummy. This piece completes a nursery room or bedroom that reminds you of your pregnancy experience. I love the almost monotonous colours in this piece, contrasting and complementing each other. The textures of the paint highlight the most important in this piece and give depth to this creation.
